Welcome all. My name is Nick Carboni. I'm a senior at Springfield College double majoring in Communications/Sports Journalism and English. I'm also a part time sportswriter at the Hartford Courant. At first I was against this blogging deal but it's so easy to set up that I figured, why not? Also, I'm hoping that blogging will help me get a job when I graduate. The sports media is becoming a 24-hour a day, 7-day a week, 365-day a year job, and I'd like to keep up. Maybe this will show some (unlucky) employer that I am worth hiring.
I will be blogging about everything, but mostly sports, since that will be my eventual career choice. But my other interests include movies, television and music. I don't really do politics. Also, you will probably find a lot of random references to the movie Dumb and Dumber and the television show The Office. Please forgive.
